Jake and Mabrie fell in love in October of 2022. They met through church during a mission week. Jake was not originally supposed to go, but a few hours before the group was supposed to leave he received a call from Jeff Graves. He was the pastor at the time and by God’s divine workings Jake was able to go. Jake and Mabrie became good friends for a few months before realizing God may have been making a way for more than just a friendship. November 9th of that same year the two decided to begin dating.
